Captain Jack Russell Pet Services provides a personalised experience tailored to your pet’s needs. We offer individual walks or small group outings of no more than three dogs to ensure plenty of attention and care. Routes are carefully selected to keep walks fresh and engaging, blending countryside and town environments. Safety and trust are at the heart of what we do. Small group numbers, short vehicle journeys, and safe off-lead time make our services dependable and secure. In addition to dog walking, we offer live-in pet sitting for cats, dogs, and other animals and home sitting while you're away for work or travel.
Personalised Care for Every Dog
We believe in providing personalised care for every dog, so we limit our walking groups to just three dogs. This ensures each pet gets the attention it deserves. Many of our clients continue to use our services, reflecting our quality of care. Additionally, we welcome non-neutered dogs and take extra care to monitor their behaviour closely, ensuring a positive and safe experience for everyone in the group.
No Contracts or Hidden Fees
We don't tie our customers to contracts, so if needed, you’re free to leave our service when you wish, with no "get out clause" and no need to pay for the rest of the month.
There’s also no charge if you need time away for holidays, your dog’s space will still be there for you when you return.
There are no upfront payments or paying for walks in advance, you receive a bill at the end of each month. If for any reason we need to cancel or we cannot get to you, there is no charge.
We only charge if you contact us to cancel your dog’s walk on the day, or if we arrive and your dog is not available, but this is depending on circumstances.
Our Story
I started Captain Jack Russell Pet Services in 2022 with an aim to not only improve my own lifestyle but also to offer a more personal and fun service to the animals I hoped to work with than what appeared to already be available at the time. I have always loved the time spent with my own animals over the years and always had a strong bond with them and many of my family and friends’ animals too and wanted to do something with that.
It was a big move from being an HGV driver and part-time metalworker to working solely with other people’s pets but I believe the fresh look from another point of view (you could say a relative outsider!) set the business apart from the norm and gave people another choice on the market to try; that was my aim from the start.
Seeing the business go from strength to strength with the many animals we have had and continue to work with has been amazing and I am very proud of what the business has achieved by having its own unique style, high safety standards and strong work ethic.
